Who is Flavour Country?

Flavour Country is a Horde raid on the Cho'gall server. We are a progression raiding guild that works hard to maintain the balance between raiding, fun, and real-life. Our guild/raid leader and the majority of our officer and raider core consist of a strong group of players that have raided together since vanilla WoW. What makes Flavour Country a great place to raid?

We emphasize the quality of our raiding time over the quantity, a philosophy which is reflected in our short but efficient raid schedule. In The Burning Crusade, Flavour Country (Dark Iron - Alliance) was frequently the first 3-4 day raid guild to defeat new content throughout all 25 player raid instances.

Flavour Country raids Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8pm CST until 12pm CST.

What kind of new members is Flavour Country looking for?

We are pursuing skilled and dedicated raiders who want to be a part of a strong community. Many of our members enjoy arenas, battlegrounds, alts, and other aspects of the game, but raiders are expected to focus primarily on progression raiding. The strength of our community directly affects the quality of our guild and we are seeking individuals who will enhance our overall gaming experience. Flavour Country receives a large volume of applications. Public applications will either be closed or responded to in the forum thread. Private applications will generally only be responded to if we wish to speak further with you. Average turnaround time for replying to applications is 3-5 days, although this is highly variable especially during progression weeks. Please avoid contacting members in game unless you have questions that you are unable to answer by utilizing our website. If you are unable to find the information you are looking for please contact one of our recruitment officers, Preliator or Foreshadowed. You may utilize our forum private message function or contact us in-game outside of raid times. Whispers while we are raiding will usually be ignored and viewed negatively.

Do you have a stable internet connection and a computer that runs WoW without issue? Please note that repeat disconnections, although unfortunate, are not acceptable for our raiding purposes.

Do you have a microphone and are you willing to speak in English over Ventrilo if called for?

Please link any relevant logs (preferably ICC25 or ToGC25). WoL is ideal but any of the major log parsing sites will suffice. When linking logs please try to include entire raid nights rather than individual fights where you might have excelled. If you are not able to include any logs, please explain why not.

Do you own an authenticator? If not, are you willing to obtain and use one?
